The life of our church is a busy one
With rarely a day passing by
When we can support our Church family,
And be a true ally.

The job is not so difficult
You may just want us to sit and listen
As a friend to share something important

To our shut ins we're here to support you
With a visit, a card and a smile
whatever way we can help you
let us know - we'll go that extra mile.

The music we feel is fantastic,
The talent the best in the land
If you'd like to come out and join us
There is always an inviting hand.

When it comes to preparing his sermon
Rev David embraces the plight,
He muses and reads, reflects and revises
till he gets his message just right.

He likes to give us a challenge,
to have us ponder his food for thought
when we walk away from the service
and go quietly to our own treasured spot.

This year we brightened the nathex
In hopes of making it a welcoming space
we want you to feel at peace here
when you come into this beautiful place.
(And away from life’s rat race)
